I tried to treat myself and ended up staring at a half-eaten cookie like "who even am I anymore?”

The other day I tried to treat myself to a Milk Bar cookie. Who doesn't love a good Milk Bar cookie? I mean, they are full of sweet ridiculous deliciousness.

So. It was late in the evening, maybe 8pm (okay, don’t come at me for calling 8pm late, this is *my* story), I felt like I wanted a little something sweet, and so I bought this cookie, and I was all excited.

I sat down to eat it… And I was really disappointed. Not because the cookie wasn’t good - it was delicious - but it was so overwhelming! I couldn't even eat more than a few bites, and I didn’t really enjoy it. I was so bummed.

And then I had to laugh at myself because - six months ago I significantly reduced my sugar intake, and I also basically stopped eating after 6:30 PM… and here I was at 8 o'clock eating AND eating a giant sugary cookie. Of course it wasn’t a good experience.

So… now I have to figure out what do I actually want to do to treat myself? Me, the sugar junkie, used to always treat myself to sugar, but that's not really my thing anymore.

I could use some ideas. What do you like to treat yourself to? Any non-sugary or non-food favorite “treats”?
