“Bottom line, there’s also no evidence that umbrellas don’t cause kittens”

— Former CDC official, Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, a on the CDC’s newest double-speak about vaccines and autism.

Yes. In the continued erosion of trust in science and the American government, we have this latest gem from the CDC.

Let’s call this CDC “update” what it is:
Vague. Dangerous. Irresponsible. Bullsh*t.

To quote Dr. Daskalakis, again: "This is why I left the CDC. You're seeing the ideology of RFK Jr elevated into the space of legitimate science by being branded as a CDC document."

I don't know about you, but I learned pretty early in school the difference between a theory well-tested through the scientific method vs a belief backed by zero evidence.

Maybe RFK Jr. missed that day? Year? Decade?

👉🏻 Now that we can no longer trust the CDC (sad but not surprising), where are you planning to get your evidence-backed medical information?

P.S. In case you were in any way roped in by this tomfoolery, let’s be clear: Vaccines do not cause autism. 40 high quality studies, including almost 6 million people, conducted in 7 countries, have been very clear that vaccines do not cause autism.
