You finally did it. You got out. πŸŽ‰

New company, fresh start.
Except six months in, you're looking around thinking... wait. This feels familiar. 😬

Different job. Same shenanigans. πŸ™…πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

This happens more than we like to admit. Because most interview processes are somewhere between a mess and a deliberate attempt to hide the dirt.

So when my clients are job hunting, we get tactical about it. Here are two questions I give almost everyone:

1. Question to ask as many folks as possible (because you’ll get different answers): β€œWho was the last leader promoted here, and why?”

2. Question to ask a potential boss and/or CEO: β€œTell me about a time when someone who reported to you disagreed with you publicly, and what you did about it.”

The first one tells you what gets rewarded.
The second tells you who you're about to work for.

What are your favorite questions for sussing out a new opportunity before you're in it?
