No is a full sentence

No is a full sentence

I was talking to a client recently who was unhappy with work from a vendor. He had overpromised and underdelivered, and he was now trying to talk circles around her to avoid accountability.

He wanted to schedule another call to “wrap things up.”

Yes, I help clients have tricky conversations every day. But sometimes “no” is a full sentence. 🙅🏻‍♀️

My client wanted help navigating another conversation. I helped her set boundaries instead.

Move everything to email. End it cleanly. Done.

Where have you flexed your “no” muscle recently? 😉
